Summit Scaffolding Auckland

Residential Scaffolding  Auckland, contact the Summit Scaffolding team of Scaffolders Auckland which is a team with safety  top of mind. Our dedication to following the health and safety guidelines set out by government and industry is something we are proud of.
For the physical health, well-being and safety of our workers and their environment, we are obliged – and happy – to follow through with compliance on:
• The Health and Safety at Work Act, 2015 (HSWA)
• The Health and Safety in Employment Act, 1992
• The Health and Safety in Employment Regulations, 1995
• Best Practice Guidelines for Scaffolding in New Zealand, 2009.

On going training, upskilling, and support to our team is coupled with our affiliation with Mates in Construction, a suicide prevention group established in 2008 to help workers recognise the signs of mates “doing it tough”. We have the appropriate resources to fulfil our Mates objectives and are totally on board with the work that needs doing in this area.

Some of the installation precautions we take to aid and enable this safety record are:

  • 1000mm wide platforms that provide a safe, weight–sensitive and stable base
  • Edge protection and guard rails that keep workers safe and materials enclosed
  • Mobile scaffolding used as an alternative to extensive scaffolding to provide fast, safe, easy access to all project work areas
  • Temporary fences that keep tools and equipment secure, hazards enclosed, and passing public safe
  • Roof protection adjusted to the pitch angle preventing falls and protecting ground staff
  • Shrinkwrap to weatherproof buildings and to contain pollutants, dust and debris
  • Propping (falsework) that provide appropriate support equipment to uphold structures
